When teaching yoga, the first place that always comes up is teaching in a yoga studio or gym space. It can be hard for a newer teacher to get a spot in the best studios or get a good time spot in a studio. I think it’s really important to diversify your teaching base. For me, it was teaching corporate yoga classes. Here you can increase your student base, have a direct impact on students who may not go to a yoga studio, and increase your income per hour as corporate classes usually pay more.

Let’s look at it a different way, in the UK for every 1 yoga studio there are about 1200 businesses. There are so many more opportunities to teach corporate yoga than there are to teach in a studio. For the USA it’s around 1 yoga studio per 10,000 businesses. There is so much opportunity to tap into.
